Who are we? What should you know about us? For starters, we are a FIRST robotics team in Downtown Phoenix, at Bioscience High School. The Dragon Robotics team has been around since 2008. Bioscience High School students were given the opportunity to join a robotics team at Bioscience thanks to our founding mentor, Mr.Enrique. Since then, we have developed into a robotics team like no other. Today, there are 30 students who are currently active members of Dragon Robotics. Dragon Robotics 2375 is an incredible, united group of people with a passion for building robots. Not only are we a team for robotics competitions, but we are also very close friends and committed to helping the community. For bonding, we have done things like having a pizza party with The LEGO Movie and Underwater Dreams while building the LEGO obstacles for the FLL Competition, which we hosted ourselves, and watching the Spare Parts movie on the release day was another activity we did together. Our friendship with each other is another major component in Dragon Robotics 2375. The second biggest component is being a major player in the downtown Phoenix Community and being the sports team at our school. In addition to FRC, our team competed in FTC, with 4 teams (but no teams are active currently), and hosted an FTC & FLL tournament for the past 4 years, as well as mentoring FLL, FTC, and FRC teams.
